Join us for a hike a Detweiler Park. Learn more about Detweiler Park and ongoing projects from Kayla Harbert, Dauphin County Parks and Recreation Department’s Northern Dauphin County Parks Manager. You’ll also learn more about the Governor Pinchot Group of the Sierra Club and more about Spotted Lantern Flies from Sierra Club Outing Chair Bob Rebuck.
The hike will be approximately 2.5-3 miles and will include David’s Field Loop, Frankie’s Dogleg Loop, and a small section of the Airstrip Loop. Participants should wear proper footwear as some areas of the trails may be muddy and wet. These trails are a mix of hilly and flat lands. This program is part of the Park Rx series of programs sponsored by Highmark Blue Shield. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.
